Description: Music video for the song White House Jihad written by Transcendence lead singer Ed Hale and Tyler Bejoian (with a little help from Jay Z and Britney Spears). Ed has two cousins who will not 'be home for Christmas' this year because they are currently serving in Iraq. In June of 2005 he and his friends lost an old high school buddy who was killed in Iraq. The soldier's mom, reported in the paper, said the best way to honor her son is to "just get the word out, support our troops. We need to get them out of there." Lyrics White House Jihad Blood runs down Pennsylvania avenue And I find myself unfortunately hating you Letters written home The impostor king enthroned Betrayal neath his nails Footsteps on the trail Blood laid on the ground Our statues tumbling down Bombs are rumbling all around us Moonshine on my gun I find myself more than ready to come home Buried in this foreign sand Stolen innocence my contraband Shorthaired jesters politician thieves have stolen all my patriotic dreams Try remembering your prayers while killing babies in their homes Stepping on their bibles while your busy sorting skulls Passages are weak to redeem the so-called meek Who don't inherit anything but a gunshot to the head While they're laying in their beds Their hearts are filled with dread Praying for some mercy form the infidels Who come straight from hell Red white and blue Come to slaughter you Show us what you got baby X 4 All your talk of freedom While your war machine keeps raging Your democracy is raining Giant balls of thunder on our homes/souls America where are you now? So you've killed one million of us now You've gone and hung our leader now And he'll become our sacred cow So we will blow more buildings down In that wretched fake and plastic town that you call America We watched you helpless march your streets To try and stop their evil deeds Your righteous cause they didn't heed So let us remind you no good deed Goes unpunished All your talk of freedom When I just lost my baby But your news reports don't mention it But they sure talk about Britney Spears The man who should be hung I think you know the one Long after he is gone Your children will remember America where you were now Red white and blue Come to slaughter you Show us what you got baby America where are you now

fuck ya this is the best video on youtube! p.s its kasper

The death toll in Iraq is because of Terrorists, Baathists, and Iran and other terrorist states of evil. The American Troops and the Coalition are freeing the good.

Great work!

when is this gonna be released?

cool video man..bravo !!!

this song is absolutly amazing (sorry for not having anything political to say)

Not sure why I got a thumbs down on that comment above. Everything I typed is verifiable. Perhaps that is what someone didn't like.

I've cooled off a bit, and I thank you for calling me "friend." I mean it. I think you're an alright guy who happens to have opinions on issues that are in no way compatible with mine. I wish you would be more careful when citing figures in songs, as people will hear your music and take it for sooth. You're a talented musician and I wish you the best. I'm sure Stan would too and I can see why he took you as a friend.

This is Ricky, drummer for the band. I handle the band's YouTube channel. Ed has his own crazy channel. He told me to pull the name. He's cool like that. We took care of it. Thanks for putting yourself out there. I don't think anyone is downing you by the way. I just think the whole damn country is worked up and doesn't know what to think. But no one is dissing you.

I think you need to do a bit of research. Death toll in Iraq, as I have cited numerous times, is 82000. Also, Al-Quaeda's leading figures had corresponded with SH several times, and even received a check for 3.8 million for their operations in Indonesia.

That really means alot to me. Thank you.

Hale is merely offering a perspective that drastically differs from the "shorthairs" that dominate your television screens. When was the last time anyone stopped to appreciate the severe damagage that US intervention has had on the Iraqi people. Hale is not lieing when he says "youve killed one million of us". And as far as religious extremism in Iraq goes, Al Quaeda did not exist in the country prior to US intervention. Now the country is a breeding ground for terrorists. So much for security

Ed Hale has made a good point. T

Hi there, Not sure what to call you, but perhaps "friend" since we both were once friends with Stan. This is Ed Hale. I don't get a chance to respond as often as i'd like to all the comments. But i wanted to personally just come on and say thank you for sharing with everyone. I have spent some time watching your own videos here on YouTube and find myself agreeing with a lot of the things you say. I am going to pull Stan's name off the details of the video. 4 u and 4 him.

But he doesn't agree with the U.N., CNN or the BBC on casualty numbers or who is causing the casualties.

Hi! starrfishNcoffee, Part of my thoughts about this came from viewing a video on utube The New World Order is here. I found this eerie... Take Care, Kim

1) To clear the air, I am NOT a Bush supporter 2) "Mindless mass-murder": to this, all I can say is that you have obviously never gone on patrol with a squad of infantry in Iraq. We aim to prevent the mindless mass murder. 3) Again, you seem to think that no intelligent person could support the overthrow of a mad and megalomaniacal dictator. I must just be a poor sap, white trash good ol' boy who did it for "God and country." As an atheist planetarian, you are wrong on both accounts.

innocuous is a good nickname for you. Vacuous would be good too. Your comment doesn't even make any sense. Of course he is adversarial. We all are. Though i don't hear anything flawed in this brilliant passionate song. sorry.

Ed Hale doesn't whine - he has a sharp tongue and a wicked wit - but maybe what you perceive as "hipies" do occasionally - mostly what they are trying to do is save the damn planet, a lot of lives, and what few civil liberties americans have left since these crazy jackasses took over the white house. The media if anything is pulling the wool over the public's eye in not showing enough of the people who are against that illegal invasion.

actuiallyu ed hale is now blogging that he is might vote for mccain because he thinks that now that we are there, we need to stay and finish the job. Talk about balls. Now not only is he going to get it from the right for his outspoken activism, he's also going to get it from the left. He's a smart artist. You should check him out. He actually agrees with you on this...

It seems like this person still misses the bigger point - we the hundreds of millions of protesters in america and around the world are not supporting extreme-right relio-terror organizations - we are PROTESTING against them - it's called the bush-cheney regime. And we are protesting is mindless mass murder by poor young guys like you who dont even know why you did it. sad.

If only Neil Young ruked the world, right? I've lloked quite deep, and Stush and I had many like-night talks on the subject. The fact of the matter is that those who died didn't die for nothing, and regardless of prime reasons, a consequence can be that they died for Iraqi liberty against the forces of religious zealots. Since when did protesters support extreme-right wing religio-terror organizations?

Threatening Iran, whose president promised to entirely wipe out a member state of the U.N. once he got nuclear weapons. Who are the real crazies here?

Your glittering jewels of ignorance are atounding. We are not fighting rank-and-file Iraqis, we are fighting theistic extremists who want to establish a Taliban-like state after we tuck tail and run. But by all means, let's leave them to their fate. It's really frustrating when I read or listen to people like you who have never set foot in Iraq but claim to have even the slightest inkling of what is going on over there.

But by all means, continue this facade of courage. Do whatever you need to do to tell yourself that you're all great people locked in a struggle with the evil and dreaded "man." As you do so, there are soldiers in Iraq putting themselves in harm's way and attempting to ensure the future liberty of 27 million people. I talked to Stan hours before his truck was hit by the IED, and he really did find rhetoric such that you cowards proport reougnant.
